∞ Pullman introduces upscale hotels in tune with the modern world, connecting performance and pleasure, always in tempo, defi nitely in style. To continue providing best class services Nuvo Group completed a PABX upgrade project for Pullman hotel in Albert Park.
A PABX upgrade was implemented to cover all administration, service and room handsets and to replace the existing Alcatel PABX which was estimated to have been used for over 10 years. The new solution chosen was the Ericsson-LG IPECS PABX. Nuvo Group partnered with Gant Technologies to provide high level project management, installation and technical services for the new product. The IP solution with hospitality software provides the integration with PMS, as well as, all the hospitality features expected from a state of the art PABX.

∞ With the merge of the Pullman and Mecure hotels there were many junction and connection areas for cabling with greater points of failure to be considered and old cabling in use. Therefore, an extensive planning was made for the installation to avoid interruption of operations and to create a seamless cutover. As part of the implementation process; project resources, reporting, documentation, cutover, training and testing was managed carefully to ensure everything was under control and to carry out a smooth installation process to get the outcomes expected.
The IP solution provided, met the communication needs of the hotel achieving improved guest experience, increased staff productivity, reduced costs and new revenue streams. This cost effective solution offers built-in hotel software for basic hotel service, customer care and embedded web management and presence based workforce productivity improvement. In addition, the call control platforms are able to integrate with Property Management System (PMS) software to further improve the effi ciency of the hospitality business.
